We know there's a lot of uncertainty and anxiety about sharing contact details and what businesses do with that contact data, so we just wanted to make clear how we store your information such as your name, email address etc.
When you buy a ticket to come to the conference, we collect certain information such as:
Your job title
Your contact details (email address, telephone number)
Any dietary requirements you have
Any access requirements you have
We do this so that we can:
Manufacture a delegate badge for you, for when you come to the conference
Contact you in the run up to the event to let you know of any news about the event, or if there’s any unforeseen changes to plans that have previously been advertised
Ensure your dietary and access requirements are accommodated during the event.
The payment system our website uses, also collects credit/debit card details. This is processed securely within Stripe and the Via Sponorship team has no access to it.
If you opt to pay by invoice, we will also collect contact details for the person in your organisation who is responsible for processing invoices so we can send the invoice directly to them.
We will also use your name, job title and organisation to create a delegate list for conference participants to look at.
The data is not used for any other purpose.
Contact details are stored surely within our website platform, Squarespace. It is also accessible by the team at The Marketing Department, our agency who help us manage the website, promote and execute the conference.
You have the right to view all of the data we hold on you. If you'd like to do this, get in touch and let us know.
