With over 23 years’ experience within the football industry, Christian Smith has a proven track record of success in developing programmes that add significant and sustainable value. As a professional football consultant, Christian is currently running a boutique management agency for football managers, coaches and young players which place them both in the UK and overseas. Further to this, Christian is an independent non-executive director of the Great Britain Disability Football Association where he is part of the board, overseeing Great Britain’s blind, deaf and cerebral palsy teams in their attempt to qualify for and achieve medal success at the Paralympic Games and in all international competition. 

Previously, Christian’s experience has seen him as the marketing manager for both Leicester City Football Club and Coventry City Football Club and as the commercial director of Wrexham Football Club and the Professional Footballers’ Association. During his 13 years with the Professional Footballers’ Association, Christian introduced and developed programmes of commercial partnerships and delivered contractual rights to high profile commercial partners and sponsors including the likes of Mercedes, Virgin Atlantic, Ryman, Highland Spring, Travelex, RBS and British Airways. Moreover, he created and delivered the legends Football concept, which secured contracts with various global destinations and sponsors and delivered ex-pro tournaments of up to 64 players, including the worlds’ biggest and most high-profile annual veterans football event, the Barbados Football Legends.
